"I was driving in Denver when I suddenly felt a huge impact on my right fender. My brand new Mercedes SUV was immediately airborne and I had no idea what was happening. I am glad that I was in a strong car and the left lane because the first thing I knew I landed upside down with windows breaking, airbags deploying, and the roof started caving in. I grabbed the wheel tight, screaming, then the next thing I knew I was on all four tires again to the far side of the road. The car was totaled, of course, but thankfully I am still alive! Almost immediately the road was shut down with police, fire engines, and ambulances. They took me to Denver Health where the hospital is very familiar with my conditions from the past. I had been in another rollover SUV wreck as a child that left me with a very severe traumatic brain injury. That one one left me in a coma for six weeks and killed two other people, including my mother. Today, I still see doctors and therapists on a regular basis and I am epileptic. I cannot tell you how traumatic a wreck like this was for me as a single living downtown. Enjoying my beautiful condominium with a sixteen story view north to Boulder, the Rocky Mountain Range, downtown Denver, south to the Springs and east to the plains is great.
