Fuicelli & Lee, P.C., today announced the promotion to partner of attorney Jessica Cash. She has worked as an associate with the firm since November 2011, and she leads the Fuicelli & Lee branch office in Longmont, Colorado.
“I have had the pleasure of knowing and working with Jess Cash for more than 15 years. I have seen first-hand the passion and dedication she puts in every case,” said Fuicelli & Lee co-founder Keith Fuicelli. “Her ability to see all sides of a case is a true asset, and her empathy and compassion are second to none. I couldn’t be more proud to call her my law partner.”
Cash has first-hand experience with the stress and confusion that can accompany unexpected medical issues, which gives her a unique perspective when working on personal injury cases. Her son, now 14, was diagnosed with a rare metabolic disorder as a toddler. As a result, her family has navigated the often-confusing world of diagnosis, treatment and medical insurance issues. Thanks to early interventions and therapies, her son is doing well today.
In addition, her mom passed away suddenly at the age of 50, so she feels strong empathy with clients who have experienced the sudden loss of a loved one in an accident or wrongful death case.
Prior to joining Fuicelli & Lee more than six years ago, Cash worked as a deputy district attorney in Jefferson County, Colorado, where she prosecuted more than 50 cases over the course of six years.
“We have been fortunate to have Jess representing Fuicelli & Lee at our Longmont office,” said Fuicelli & Lee co-founder John Lee. “Her skills and experience have helped us expand our reach to people in northern Colorado who need our help.”
With Fuicelli & Lee, Cash has worked with hundreds of clients in Longmont and the metro Denver area.
“It has been so rewarding running our Longmont office, helping injured people in the community where I live,” said Cash. “I have enjoyed getting to know so many of the local physicians over the past several years. It has always been important to me that I feel I am on the right side of the law and to be doing work that helps others. I am honored to be part of such a great team of people at Fuicelli & Lee.”
In two recent cases, she represented local seniors who had experienced mild traumatic brain injuries. Both clients experienced diminished quality of life following an accident. Headaches and pain prevented one client from enjoying his passion and hobby of restoring cars, which led to depression. The other client showed memory impairment following her accident and forgot the rules to bridge, a game she had enjoyed playing for decades. Cash fought to ensure settlements of more than $225,000 in each case to help cover ongoing medical treatment and to compensate the parties for their pain and suffering.
“Senior clients have a special place in my heart: People who have worked hard their entire lives so they can finally enjoy their golden years when they are hurt by someone’s else’s negligence,” said Cash. “Typically, they have a harder time recovering than younger clients. It is refreshing to help obtain justice for such a special group of people who want nothing more than to be enjoying their retirement again.”
Outside of work, Cash spends as much time as possible with her husband, son (14), daughter (12) and their dogs. They live outside Longmont, Colorado, on a small lake. They enjoy boating, roller-blading and exploring Colorado.
Cash earned her bachelor’s degree from The University of Colorado at Boulder in 1998 and her law degree from Denver University’s Sturm College of Law in 2000.

The high settlement was no accident. I watched how hard Keith worked to get us to that point. Because of Keith’s hard work, I am now in a position to concentrate on fixing my pain with continued treatment.
