9news reported that there was a hit-and-run accident. The incident happened at Colfax Ave. and Laredo St. A 14-year-old girl was trying to cross the street when she was struck by the car. The driver of the car stopped and picked up the girl. He then put her in his car. Police believe that he was going to take the girl to get medical attention. However, he may have panicked and turned his vehicle around. He eventually brought the girl right back to the intersection where the accident occurred and dropped her off at a 7-11. The driver of the SUV did not make any threats to the young woman and she reported not feeling uncomfortable near him. Police are thankful that the driver brought the girl back but are still searching for him to charge him with a hit-and-run accident.
